Cui Prodest was awarded four-year contract by the U.S. Government-funded Millennium Challenge Corporation (www.MCC.gov) partnership in Malawi. MCC’s evidence-based approach to its investments begins by developing a mutual understanding of a country’s main growth challenges with partner governments. Cui Prodest provides research on social inequalities and political dynamics in Malawi that helps identify binding constraints to private investment and entrepreneurship that appear to hold back economic growth the most.
Cui Prodest President Brenda Pearson noted, “we look forward to providing critical and actionable research on factors underlying binding constraints to growth and collaborating closely with the MCC Economic Analysis division and MCC’s Finance, Investment and Trade (FIT) group in data identification, analysis and integration.”
